Rich woody barrel character. A little earth, cocoa, tyre, raisins. Slight tangy burnt wood. A little warm. Pleasantly rich sweetness. Nicely rounded. Good depth. Some stewed dark fruits. Sound.

Black with a tan cap that clears to the edge.
Nose is chocolate, roast malts, molasses, liquorice.
Taste comprises Eccles cake, molasses, spice, dark malts, herb, cocoa sprinkle.
Full bodied, light oily, drying close with a spike of booze.
Not a bad sipper if a little harsh in places.
