Born from a mix-up, our Jack Back Session IPA was often mistakenly
called “Jack Black”.

So we made it real. A dark, sessionable IPA hopped with Citra and Mosaic for citrus and tropical notes, backed by smooth roasted malts.

This isn’t the greatest beer in the world… it’s just a tribute.

Cask at The Pot Still. It pours darkest ruby - black with a study khaki head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, fragrant, grapefruit, orange blossom, slightly soapy, dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and Terry's chocolate orange. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, charred malt, toasty, burnt toast, toasted pine, resin, quite citrusy, grapefruit, orange peel, peppery spice and coffee grounds with a dry, roasted finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Plenty of flavour for the abv. Enjoyable.
