Imperial Smoothie Cream Stout
We are massively pleased to announce the long-awaited release of a collab beer with one of the pioneers of European modern craft brewing - the great Lervig.
Together we brewed Imperial stout, what would later become 'Goddess Freya' - a smoothie cream stout, packed with milk cream, coffee from craft roastery 'Kavantura' and salted caramel.
Absolutely delicious cream stout, like coffee liqueur, with touch of salt!

Can, 0.5l. Thick creamy brown pour, no head. They weren't lying with the "smoothie cream" part on the label, this is like pouring a pudding or partially melted ice cream into the glass. Nose is lovely, lots of chocolate, brownies and cocoa in the background.
Full body, practically no carbonation. There is a subtle fizzy sensation on the tongue though. Thick and creamy texture, sticky. Sweet taste. Rich aroma, chocolate everything. Pudding, ice cream, liquor, pralines, you name it. Coffee, vanilla. Brownies, salted caramel. Liquor in the aftertaste. Long lasting finish, sweet, liquory.
Very tasty. But also quite hard to drink. Not very summer-ish. Maybe I shoul put some in the freezer and eat it like ice cream later. Hmmm...

Can from Pomalo I guess, shared with ES and Gurthnar at the Ø tasting. Smoothie light brown body, no head. The aroma... is beautiful... coffee, chocolate, vanilla... Fucking beautiful. The best chocolate pudding. Smoothie taste, coffee and caramel and chocolate, mousse taste really, more than smoothie, with some alcohol, light astringency. Okay, the body kinda sucks in my book but it's less egregious than some other hype smoothie stouts I tried before!

At a Drinkoteka tasting with the guys. Very very full bod. No carbo. Cloying sweetnees, med-light bitter, med-light alco warmth too. But the sheer amount of flavor here. Very high caramel, a bit salty, med milky, like Jesenka. Somehow it works though, it is tasty and moreish. Very nice.
