Pull the pin, count to four, and get ready to feel an explosion of sweet raspberry and spicy habanero flavor. No need to worry about collateral damage or capsaicin shrapnel since this red ale has just enough malt body to strike a balance between fruity, sweet, and spicy. Making it the jam to your jelly, baby.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey for the Cigar City & Funky Buddha SAVOR event. Murky brown with light off-white head. Aromas of peppers mostly. Taste of peppers and malt. Medium-light body with a dry and spicy finish.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC pours a very murky, ruddy amber with a creamy ring of white head. Nose has a bunch of sriracha and raspberry, some sweet and sour sauce, hot sauce and apples. Flavor is like... sriracha, grapes, apple notes, some roasted red pepper, a little red pepper jelly. Finishes lightly acidic, lightly peppery. Kind of cool.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Poured a clear ruby red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some raspberries, with some hot pepper skins. Flavor was hot habanero, with some raspberries. Heat comes through, but is pretty enjoyable. Very tasty and more subtle than many chile beers.

Draft at Churchkey. Murky brown color. Beautiful aroma of forest berry medley. Taste is tart berries, pepper flesh and light head. I didn’t think this combo would work, but it sure does.

Lots of evident habanero here with a good raspberry body. Finishes spicy and tangy. Pours clear maroon. Average carbonation. Thanks to radagast83 for a taste of this at the tap feature event at Churchkey.
