Bottle thanks to jkwalking05. Pours with a fading white head and a deep amber body. Aroma of coffee, strong toffee, and a caramel frappuccino mixture. Taste is caramel and light roasty coffee. Medium carbonation. Odd irish ale.

2005 bottle at Julio’s Spring Beer Fest, 4/02/05. Cherry red mixes with light amber-brown for the body, which is clear, with a small, but somewhat well-retained beige-yellow head. Aroma of pine hops, sweet coffee and cream. A touch of caramel and some light fruitiness. Flavor is well-balanced, with some honey-cream, dry roast and well-extracted malts balancing against an easygoing hops bitterness, that is not too drying. A bit astringent as it warms, however, with a peppery, disruptive carbonation. Medium body, with no wateriness.
