The appearance was a stiff dark brown close to black color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Slight lace.
The aroma had some sweet and roasty nuts strolling into some coffee bean roastiness and a light milk and dark chocolate contour in the background.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the roast complimenting nicely. Aftertaste was nice and sweet, just a touch of roast. Finish seemed nice and sweet.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good carbonation and ABV. Somewhat smooth along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice porter that I could come back to.

Tap at brewery. Muddy pour light nose o’s cola and berry. Tastes of flat cola, light coffee, root beer, touch berry, and English malts. Rather thin and touch sweet. Fell a little flat.

Growler shared in NYC. Pours clear, deep brown with a frothy off-white head. The nose has rich bread, dark fruits, chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with sugary dark bread, chocolate, some berries, roast, dough. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes fairly sweet, with burnt chocolate, more dark fruits, blackberry, scorched earth. Good stuff.

Draft at the source courtesy of Eric, thank you. Maroon color, tan head. Aroma of bittersweet cocoa. Taste is sweet and roasty chocolate and dusty coffee.
