Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt dark orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that swiftly fell apart. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some sweet to bitter floral and citusy hops up front with a pinch of white pepper and a sturdy caramel malt base.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a balancing spice of the white pepper. Aftertaste was the citrusy hops and malts. Not much of a finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, decent APA, not sure if the white pepper was intentional but I liked it.

New England Bucket List Trip #181. Growler from Nikki’s Liquors. Pours a clear amber with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, mild floral hops. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, potato chips, floral hops. Medium bodied.

Sampled at 3rd annual RI Brewfest; Flavor starts lightly sweet with pale malt base with caramel hints. Lighter body, nearly thin and very grainy. A dusty grain flavor shows throughout the brew. I get very little, if any hop profile at all. This one needs some work.

Draft at the source courtesy of Eric, thank you sir! Hazy amber color, off white head. Aroma of lightly spiced caramel. Taste is plain caramel. Bucket Pail Ale. I get it.
