This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

Bottle. Clear blonde color, lacy low head. Creamy biscuit, wheat, crackers in the nose, a bit of lemon and grass. Bready flavor, grass, a bit catty. Decent enough Easy.

Draft in a flight at a hotel bar in Dallas - fuck this beer - tastes like soggy grains, creamed corn, spoiled lemon juice - sourness and harsh acidity in the finish - some grassy noble hops keep it from being completely undrinkable - once again, fuck this beer, and fuck that this flight cost 12 bucks - fuckin’ hotel bar.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a slightly unclear golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is quite weak, with grassy, lighlty peppery and piny hops. Some fruity hints. It’s quite thin on the palate, medium bodied to be fair, dry, and with a tad too much carbonation. Fruity notes, pale malts and a little bitterness in the flavor. Short frinish. A decent beer, flawless, but it fails to interest me, it’s too dull. 130828

Tap at the Ginger Man, Houston, 21/05/13. Very lightly hazed blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is caramel, pineapple, sugars, light hops, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, citrus, oranges, pineapple, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish. Average fayre - not much doing on the hop front, not one I’d revisit.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of light citrus hops and a little grain. Taste is light bitter. Citrus hops and bready malt. Medium bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I’d gladly drink this outside on a hot day.
