This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

Ember draught, 10/31/22. Clear brass-blonde. Sizeable white head. Corn, glue, six row-like graininess, no hop light buttercream. Solid and clean other than the glue which I think just comes with the territory. Oh yeah, so much buttercream, nuttiness, rich corn, honey and a crisp, dry finish. The butter is absolutely divine. It's not diacetyl-derived, but reminds of English pale ales that do have a moderate amount of diacetyl, to their benefit. Clean, flavorful, crisp and creamy. Loved every sip.

Draft at the source. Hazy pale gold, white head. Grains, mild fruitiness, mild bitterness. Bland but thirst-quenching.

Tap at Banger’s, Austin. Clear yellow color, not much head. Pear, grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Grainy, pear fruityness, not much. Watery. Meh.

Bottle: Hazy yellow with a short white head. Grain, sweet corn aroma. Sweet, grain and grass taste. Kinda grows on you.....nicely malted. Runs more rich than I expected.. Not bad at all.
