Spicy Julius is a rendition of Julius conditioned on jalapeños!
Julius’s bright, tropical notes of peach, mango, passionfruit, and a mélange of citrus fruits are given a spicy kick of heat. The familiar, gentle, hop-saturated character of our flagship IPA presents itself between the aroma of freshly cut peppers and a lingering zing of spice.

Can at home form j and b Craft Drinks, Amsterdam - in the garden, 2nd August 2026. Pours a nice earthy orange and hazy. Taste is fruity, slight tang of pepper, I’m a hop head and chilli head, so would have liked more! Good still

Can (5/6/26) from Clarkvv--thanks, Clark (CLW deferred)! Opaque light brown-dark yellow with tons of sparkle, large head with good retention and soapy lacing. Aroma initially is just Julius with late pepper with heavy sniff (wouldn't necessarily identify as Jalapeno, however). Taste is initial Julius but pepper comes in more quickly, and forcefully, than aroma about mid-way through the sip, with malt background. I'd say it has more of a pepper spice than heat. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste with mild lingering Jalapeno heat. Probably could have used a bit more pepper--flavor, spice/heat. This version, even those who have ZERO interest in peppers likely would find OK as completely inoffensive.

It's Julius, by and by. Jalapeno is usually not strong enough to break through in to the nose of a moderately strong IPA unless you go absolutely nuts, which I wouldn't expect they would based on Jalagreno and Habanero Haze. I suppose you can imagine there is some peppery, lightly floral character on the end, but I don't think you'd name it blind in a million years.
Graham cracker and white bread-like malt with big orange-grapefruit-mango from the Citra and a bit of light pine on the end. I wouldn't pick out Jalapeno blind here, and I'm not even sure I can pick them out knowing they're there. Like the other two versions, I wish they would have done a good deal more pepper. I get they don't want to turn off your average drinker, but these are pretty pathetic. This one especially, if I remember correctly. Oh well, I can still drink a Julius, so no harm done.
