Solid, not exceptional, but very tried and true in presentation. Nice roasted malt notes mixed with chocolate and mild coffee cherry. Finishes semidry and creamy. Nice.

Tap at Arlington hotel dark brown pour. Nose is chocolate and caramel. Tastes of char, chocolate, roasted malt, sweet lactose. Not abrasive in sweetness. Smooth palate.

Draft at the source. Hazy dark maroon brown color, tan head. Aroma of cocoa, light coffee. taste is sweet chocolate with a bit of earthiness. Nice.
