440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, herbal, nutty, tonka. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, creamy, honey, light floral, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots of fake flavours.

Draught @ SKAAL Sรธnderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of malt, cocoa, and cake, with touches of yeast. Bitter flavour of roast and hops, with notes of chocolate and touches of droed fruit, marshmallow, and cake. Roasty aftertaste with fruity and estery touches. Reasonable.

I get nervous when an imp. stout pours lighter than a guinness
aroma has sour milk, coffee, vanilla, cola nuts, roasted malts, chocolate. i get a very artificial impression with the added flavors dominating, not much yeasty hoppy malty notes.
flavor is sweet like sugar free sweetener, bit of bitter caramel, chocolate, cake frosting, not sure i get any pistacio, but maybe some bitter nuts. The beer is seriously sweet with not much roasted malts to back it up. unbalanced.

Draft at the Heartless Wrench Randers. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some licorice. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

The second of two Star Wars pun named beers at this venue, and I'm of an age to still to appreciate the cultural reference. Looks blackish, a more spyglass look will find quite a lot of red. This is real acquired taste stuff, the Baklava is more boozy than the flavour that should be found in my opinion, coming across as liquorice as a more nearer description, but others may disagree. Nevertheless it's quite a unique brew for me in this instance, but not one I'd return to. I did finish my third. Quite dense.
