Light amber in color, full bodied and well hopped. Simcoe, Cascade, and whole flower Mt. Hood hops were used. We dry hopped this ale with whole flower Starlings. A well rounded strong ale!

Bottle picked up in Vegas. Hazed golden amber hued pour with a lasting and retentive off white head. Aroma is of crystal malt, biscuity malt and an odd lactone like dill to coconut in the background. Also quite hoppy, fruity and grassy with some marmalade. Flavors are grassy with oxidation (noticeable). Faded hops, quite a bit of malt body and sweetness. Bottling issue. Well hidden alcohol. Fuller bodied with moderate carbonation.

Poured up on tap at Papago with an opaque (hop haze I hope) orange-ish copper body with thick gold edges and supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy hop notes of malt sweetened orange peel and grapefruit with slivers of resiny pine like hop bitterness. Nice start. The taste delivers rich robust hoppy goodness in the form of both citrus hop flavor and bitterness. The hop bitterness quickly gets resiny with a pine hop like sensation. Into the finish a bit of booze can be detected. Solid brew. Yum!

Bottle from Legacy Liquor Store, Vancouver, 8.5% ABV
Light amber color, hazy, with medium-sized head. Aroma of hops, resiny and fruity, but not fresh. Correct body strength, smooth mouthfeel; it has a good toffee and caramel flavor, with robust bitterness; the hopping is resiny, a bit citrusy; the final is strong; once more, good but it doesn’t seem to be ultra fresh. It’s a solid beer anyway, lean, not too cloying.

22 oz. bottle (8.5%), split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty light, with tropical fruits, citrus and piney hops and caramel. Flavour of orange zest, caramel malts, and citrus hops, finishing off with bitter hops and some candied sugar. The flavours are a bit out of whack and with a semi-bitter edge to the finish, but this is very enjoyable.

on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw gold color. Aroma is mild resin. Taste is resin hops, secondary medium malt. Soft carbonation. Nice but more of an IPA than an I2PA.
