A west coast IPA made with a nod to Italian bitter aperitivos, bittered with gentian root (used in vermouth) and centennial hops. Dry Hopped with Simcoe & Centennial. Sticky, resinous, bitter with a refreshing campari finish.

Foamy off white head left a creamy top on a very dark amber coloured body.
Herbal, yeast & vegetable aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry back.
Biscuit, malt, yeast, cabbage, white wine & grapefruit tastes with butter well hopped finish.
This is all over the place but tastes fantastic.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Aromas of orange marmalade, apricot jam, peach, Seville orange. Flavours of orange toffee, apricot jam, peach, touch of caramel. Rich flavoursome brew.

Not terrible, maybe a little lazy. Some caramel melt, vague bitterness. Toasted grass, orange peel. Bready malts. Not very cohesive, but just about drinkable.
