Almost clear copper topped with a lasting egg shell white head.
Nose is grassy, caramel malts, pine nibble, orange peel.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, grapefruit, malt forward, hint of breads.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterenss.
Tidy.

On this drinking day in 1946, 50 guards of the Mauthausen Concentration Camp were sentenced to death. This modern day Reprisal is deeper clear golden, and an obvious west coast styled beer in appearance. It's a little gritty, a little sugary, and a little creamy in taste when it hits the palate. Aroma is regular.
