A hearty German-style Maibock brewed to celebrate Spring. This burnt orange lager displays both heft and balance. Brewed with Weyermann Barke pils and Munich malts, a double decoction mash and hopped with Hallertau Blanc. Notes of bread, grass and toasted malt are prominent to a background of Noble hops aroma and flavor.

Brewery draught, 5/8/26.
Lightly spicy, but not the super floral character you usually get from HBlanc. Rich maltiness with big honey and slight sourdough. Good spice, mineral lingering.
Malty yet drying out nicely on the finish. None of the gross resin and heavy earthy-chalk I usually associate with Hallertau Blanc. Balanced, with good acidity to match the maltiness. Good minerality.
