16oz tap at Sidedoor. Hazy golden orange body under a steady, foamy, off-white head. The aroma has some apricot, pleasant new school tones. Doughy body, clean. Serious tropical dank hop tones. Citra, Cascade, Simcoe is an awesome combination, captures a lot of what is great about IPA. Lots of hop depth, but no piny caramel heaviness. Rind. Pinch of hairspray. Solid.

Keg at Whetstone in Brattleboro, VT. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Good IPA with fresh, pithy citrus character. In particular, notes of grapefruit and moderate pine, medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish with faint piney resin, more pithy grapefruit, pale bread, some Green Flash hop edge. Nice one.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a bright golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tangy cactus, pine, catbox and was fairly sweet. The flavor was tangy and sweet catbox, cactus and pine. Long catbox and pine finish. Medium body. Meh.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy and piney hops, along with biscuity malt. Flavour is piney and lightly fruity, with a soft dry biscuity malt backing. Very flavourful, just the right amount of fruitiness, enough punch from the piney hops, and not really any sweetness. Totally by the books IPA here, but done damn well.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear bright gold body that supports a semi loose white head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, pineapple and a bit of orange zest. As it warms a spicy onion slightly dank note is noticed. The taste delivers a mix of malts resiny pine hops and grapefruit. Toward midway it starts to pick up modest levels of mango and pineapple.

Sampled from the tap at Republic. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination of sweet and earthy citrus with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more bitter citrus with a touch of grass and more of an earthy grain backbone.
