A Stout Ale Aged In Bourbon Barrels
What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

Sample at the Ping Pong, Foosball, and Great Beer tasting on 03/03/2012. Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky patches of lace. Bourbon, espresso, malt and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt and roasty espresso. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Good oatmeal base, raw, some chocolate but the bourbon is more present. Traces of vanilla are felt and the coffee comes strong as it warms.
