This smooth, rich and decadent stout lives up to its Imperial name. Notes of dark chocolate, cherries, coffee and roasted grain balance effortlessly with the higher alcohol content. But don’t be fooled by the dark side, this Imperial Stout is still packing a blaster and is best enjoyed in front of a roaring fire watching certain movies. If there is a storm coming, be a trooper and hunker down with this beer!

This stout poured a deep black colour with a minimal, dark brown, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include Marmite, yeast, cocoa, alcohol and roasted dough. First swig was quite sweet and thick with flavour. Tastes of sweet roasted dark malt, molasses, Marmite, coffee and a little whiskey? Finish is thick, sweet and burnt with burnt malt lingering.
