To say that 2026 has been a revelation for our access to the freshest crops of the newest hype hops on the planet would be a huge understatement. We nailed our colours to the mast this year to bring ourselves back up to the top of the table in terms of hyped breweries and Square Space is another entry into that canon. With greater accessibility to a wider selection of hop merchants, we’ve leveraged ourselves with Spare Space – utilising the Kohia Nelson blend directly from Freestyle Hops in NZ. A meticulously curated blend of Nelson Sauvin and Rakau, along with New Zealand passionfruit, this hop when used as generously on the cold side as we have here, positively bursts with sticky passionfruit and fresh squeezed orange juice notes. Backed up with separate T90 additions of both hops, this amazing pale ale is backed up with a little bit of zingy gooseberry, alongside apricot and an undercurrent of pine to make this pale ale outrageously drinkable at 4.1%

Draught keg at Polly's Social, Mold. Light yellow/gold, hazy with a large pillow white head. Big apricot aroma, a little pineapple, with a lovely malt note. Tastes wonderful, sweet at first with stone fruit almost being edged out but the biscuity malt. Bitterness later on, more citrus hop character, leading to a balanced finish. Creamy body with carbonation impressively dialled back.
