For SG24 we explored, for the first time, experimental variety CH3 from our good friends at Crosby Hops. During our 2025 harvest selection with Crosby, we had the opportunity to get our noses into their exciting experimental range, which is starting to come to market. CH3 stood out for its decadent pineapple, watermelon and raspberry — how exciting! We knew we needed some for an SG release and decided to lead with it in this gorgeous pale, with CH3 making up 50% of the dry hop. The remaining dry hop is split between Deep Cut Cascade, which is essentially late-pick Cascade (also from Crosby), and some spanking hand-selected Citra. We find more.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Milky golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach and watermelon. Flavour of mango and nectarine. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A delicious IPA. Deya have released some excellent beers lately.

500ml can from the brewery. Murky golden with a big frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of melon, peach, pineapple, raspberry. Taste of tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, raspberry and peach, melon, low bitterness but not much sweetness either, nicely balanced. Medium bodied, soft.
Enjoyed this more than the CH2 hop in SG23.

Draught at Pikkulintu Rutopuisto, Helsinki.
The beer poured hazy and light orange in color.
Surprisingly heavy feel for the abv.
Oranges, juicyness, hops and good amount of sweetness in flavor. Not much bitterness. Good.
