Cloudy amber pour. Very unique light bodied ale. Nose is gruit and grapefruit. Taste is similar. Very fruity citrus. Rated 8/13/08

Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Hoppy aroma with malty and spicy notes. Same goes for the flavour. Not my cop of tea.

Bottle 33 cl, thanks to Azlondon. Orange, hazy with medium offwhite head. Aroma; Light hoppy with some spicy and citrus sence. Taste; quite spicy, light hoppy but also some malt and yeast at the end. lots of different taste, good.

Bottle at Birreria Paradiso. Pale color, no head, no lacing. Aroma of early phenols, dissipates quickly to reveal citrus and white pepper. Taste of worn socks, herbal, slightly sour and slightly bitter. Interesting.

Draught Hazy pale orange beer with faint greenish shine and a thick, dense stable head, white, leaving perfect lacerings. Powerful lavender smell (though it is probably sage), obliterating all other aromas. Even more outspoken, soap-like lavender taste, with a point of saltiness and quite some spicy bitter. Bit of wormwood. Sharp palate, very creamy (dispensing!) and medium bodied. Definitely over-slanted, utterly unidimensional.

Bouteille (Merci, Allen!): Golden, hazy with a smaller creamy and lacy white head; moderate bittersweet herbal-spicy (cough syrup) nose; relatively dry bitter flavour, medium bodied; cough syrup brut in the bitter-malty finish. Gulp! A bitterness, not created by aromatic hops, is problematic......

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top.[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Unclear small sized body particles, a medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, old malt, moderate yeasty, perfume - soap, fruity, light spicy - sage, flowers - honey notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet flowers - honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100307]

Fliptop C&C 33 cL bottle from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours a lightly hazy peach color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Fine floating particles that eventually settle to the bottom. Tart aroma with notes of lemon, herbal and floral notes, honey. Taste is tart vinous notes with some faint breadiness and an herbal finish. Medium bodies and strongly carbonated.

Bottle at Mekong’s Beer tasting with Jerome on 01/20/2010. Clear light golden body with a small frothy white head. Sweet floral and spicy aroma. Big spicy flavor with some floral and minty notes. Medium light body with high carbonation.

(swing top bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Allen) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and thick foamy head. Distinctively herbal aroma of sage, combined with light sweet malt as well as citrus fruity and flowery hops. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty taste with present notes of sage, accompanied by citrus and other herbal spices; dry, mildly sweet and sour-fruity finish with moderate spicy and bitter hoppy notes. Couldn´t drink this all day, otherwise a fresh and interesting brew. 08.I.10
