Taster at brewery. Dark golden, clear, fine white head. Malty aroma and taste,no toastiness, no nuttiness. Tastes more like a cream ale.

Dark amber color with a mild floral aroma. Taste is thin, an earthy bitterness from hops and a slightly caramel sweet malt finish. Average.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear dark reddish amber color with a small white head. A light sweet caramel nose. Toast, more caramel, I agree with mansquito, this is nearly gone in Oregon too. But it's not bad.

Can from weihenweizen: pours amber with light beige head. Aroma is caramel and toffee. Taste is sweet with low bitterness. This is a style nigh extinct in NYC. Basic but drinkable.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Dry malty aroma. Starts fine malty, light roasty with a spicy touch. Light sourish hints. Also some notes of caramel. Finish well balanced, spicy-malty. Nice!

Many thanks to weihenweizen for bringing this can to Europe. smooth nice malty beginning. Easy to drink, not too deep with a nice round and refreshing body. Smooth mild malty aftertaste, round and grainy with chocolate and caramel.

Can shared with Erzengel. A clear amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of orange fruits, tangerine, moderate fruity hops. Taste of tangerine, mild sourish apricot, nothing special.
