Metamorph is a Black IPA that brings plenty of that resinous dankness we love topped off with a good dose of Mosaic Cryo for some fruity top notes. The grist is light in body with a subtle smoky roast character, delivering a dry and bitter end.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 25/08/2026.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a big old lasting beige head.
Nose is mellow roast, cocoa powder, charr, cola cubes, dusty hops.
Taste comprises charr, roasted bite, pine needle, bitter tropical fruit backnotes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Decent enough CDA ... was hoping for a little more though.

440ml can. Clear and very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of tropical and berry fruits, chocolate and roast malts. Taste is fruity, tropical, citrus, berries, chocolatey malts, finish is bitter (hoppy), piney resin, with some roast malt too. Medium bodied.
A quality BIPA as usual from Elusive, nice mix of hop and malt character here.

Keg at Shirker' Rest, New Cross. Clear chestnut. Foamy off-white head. Aroma has burnt caramel sweetness, liqourice and herbs. Sweetness prevails. Flavourwise it's similar albeit they're is a herbal bitterness over burnt caramel sweetness. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Easy drinking but still perky BIPA.
