4 oz draft pour at Bluejacket courtesy of one of the bartenders, thanks! Ruby brown with off-white head. Aromas of dark fruit, floral notes, caramel, herbs and spices. Tastes of dark fruit, citrus, caramel, light spice. Medium body with a dry finish. Tasty.

Cashmere is definitely a good way to describe this as it comes off suave and classy. Raisin, prune, and Belgian floral yeast. Cloudy dark brown pour with good head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Thick consistency, nice package. Tap at brewpub.

Pours deep reddish black, medium creamy tan head, great lacing. Aroma is spices, dark fruits, plums, figs, molasses. Flavor follows, quite spiced, dark sugars, dark fruits, medium sweet, very light bitterness. Medium body, lingering spiced finish. A bit too spicy.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was sweet notes, candi sugar, plums and cherries. Cocoa notes, some fig and plum. Okay, but a bit too bozzy for my liking.

On draft at BlueJacket Brewery. Pours a clear dark cola with a tan head. Aroma of banana esters. Flavors of caramel and cleaning fluid. Boozy, somewhat sweet finish.

Draft at the source. Dark maroon brown color, bright beige head. Aroma of dusty, earthy licorice, dates, candied figs. Taste is sweet dark winter fruits bathed in brandy and port wine. Delicious.
