Sparkling Medium Barrel Aged Fine Cider
This 11th iteration of Gold Rush "Flaunt the Imperfection" showcases the nuances of a multi vintage barrel aged cider. The cider has been wild fermented and then expertly and carefully blended from varying vintages. The selection of oak cask types used for the fermentation and maturation including strong spirit to neutral old cider barrels.
A dark bright molasses amber colour, autumnal fruit with apple puree and barrel on the nose with a rich bittersweet ripe pomme flavour, complimented by subtle woody notes and vanilla giving a very drinkable, indulgent cider. A wonderful mouthful of plush, orange citrus, tannic cider. Alc 6.4% vol.

330ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Bright coppery tinged golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of ripe apple, caramel, earthy funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, fruity, caramel, farmhouse funk, leathery, orchard floor, oak, wood barrel, with some dry tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium drying funky fruity soft tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
