A blend of massive Barleywines aged 20 to 36 months in oak bourbon barrels, shaped slowly by time and wood. The barrels leave their imprint—spicy oak, aged tobacco, and warm bourbon heat—while a mountain of whole vanilla beans softens the edges with notes of caramelized sugar and melted mallow. Rooted in patience and shadow, this is a barleywine that speaks to transformation—the sweetness of life, the weight of time, the quiet warmth that lingers long after the glass is empty.

Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Dark cola brown, nice viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, oak, caramel, dark fruit/raisin, late hint of tobacco. Taste is strong cherry/dark fruit (bordering on overly sweet/cough syrup initially, but mellows as it warms), bourbon, caramel, oak. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. The aroma here is so strong, so complex and so well balanced there is no flaw. Taste has just the slightest imperfection but this is so good that we are splitting hairs in rarefied air. Very nice. World class.

12 oz can. Aroma is rich toffee, vanilla, mild bourbon. Flavor is rich with raisins, English toffee, vanilla, and a earthy malt backbone. The bourbon is soft and smooth with no alcohol detected any place. Rich and smooth BW.
