For our second collection of phase haze beers with the wonderful Track we are shifting towards experimental NZ varieties alongside the established US star that is Citra. In this IPA Citra takes the lead bringing strong notes of mango and grapefruit alongside more complex New Zealand hedgerow notes and hidden tropical gems. Classy and decadent.

440ml can at Bennyโs place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh crisp, juicy lemon citrus, grapefruit, light herbal, dank, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A clouded golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky off white head. Aroma is dank, pissy nz , waxy citrus, wax jacket, dank. Flavour is composed of creamy wheat, slick oats, dank pissy citrus, waxy, oily, diesel, dank, aggressive bitterness. Palate is oily, dank, Nice. Dank nz pissy hop.

Can shared thanks to Alexander. Hazy deep yellow golden. Super dank juicy and weedy hops. Dry mango, grassy, oats, wheat, marihuana, orange zest, unripe fruit skins. Medium sweet, more bitter. Medium bodied. Nice, but I prefered the pale ale.
