500ml bottle fresh from the brewery. BBE 04/21. Poured a clear dark copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee, nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, light sweet malt, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A good example of the style.

Many thanks to Mark. Smooth mild with a fantastic malty Ale characteristic. Smooth mild, moderate bitter, nice dry with hints of hazelnuts and dry roasted malts. Very nice!

Bottle from Squires, Laleham. Nutty malty aroma. Chestnut. Thin bubbly white head. Light bitter with a slight sour edge. Very malty. Some berries. Light bodied. Thin but creamy. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. Malt bomb. Not really for me.
