Deep super dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head that fades very fast. Aroma of squash, light spices, licorice, molasses, alcohol, earth, hazlenuts and a good deal of caramelised sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich earthy and malty flavour with a good bit of squash, anise, molasses, raisins, figs and a peat-y flavour that shows well near the end. Aftertaste is rich with complexity showing the sugars, spices, body (from the squash) and pungent near the end, from the alcohol. Overall, a rich and exciting beer - just about perfect for the style and the name - it’s exactly what you’d expect to be getting, and done in a can - very nice! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 27-May-2016 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on Halloween, 31-October-2016 after just trick-or-treating with my daughters.

Silver can at America on Tap Deep brown bordering on black. Rich chocolate and roast with some brown sugary sweetness and just enough pumpkin pie character to let you know this one is a little different. Enjoyed!

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Thanks man! Pumpkin malt, light creamy chocolate, cinnamon/nutmeg aroma. Black with a ginormous brown head. Roasty charred malt, coffee, spice, and light pumpkin flavor with a roasty bitter finsh. Medium creamy body, moderate carbonation. A better than average pumpkin beer.
