Can from CLW--thanks, Chris! Lightly hazy, honey brown (surprisingly dark), tons of sparkle, ephemeral ring of head, no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet/tart fruit, honey, dark bread. Taste is strong sweet/tart fruit (almost raisin), dark bread. Smooth texture, flat carbonation, finish as taste with late dry bitterness. Can't remember too many rice ales I've had. Surprising from the start with a darker color than I was expecting. Appreciate the sweet/tart fruit and the bitterness to add interest, but don't really love it. Mixed bag.
