Cinnamon aroma, not strong. Clear amber, thin head. Cinnamon flavor, orange underneath, vanilla finish. Light body. Not strong, but nice balance and subtlety.

Nice crisp and clear amber, copper and lightly ruby tinted body with a rich and thick three centimetre tall, slightly deeper than tan coloured head. Aroma of nuts, earth, sugars and most importantly and noticeable - full pumpkins and squash. Medium-bodied; Strong sweet and fruity flavour at first with a hint of bitterness, some deep and pungent malt and quite a bit of unfinished sweetness which hits the palate just right.Aftertaste is deep and strong with the malt, alcohol and spruce combining with the sweetness which is easy to tolerate but shows a lot of deep flavours at the end. Overall, a nice pumpkin and squash-based beer that gets away with pungent, and assertive tweet from the complex flavours and a lot of that hops. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 04-November-2014 for US$11,99 sampled at home in Washington o n18-December-2014.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a pretty clear orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of pumpkin, gourd, caramel malts, plenty of light spices - cloves, some cinnamon. Flavor was nice, light pumpkin, with some malt notes. Tasty.

Draft at the source. Hazy light amber color, fluffy tan head. Aroma is a nice balance between spice and gourd. Taste has more spice than gourd. Nice enough.
