Oh wow, that actually smells good (unlike most Sip variants). A lovely mix of WC and NE elements showing easygoing citrus, pine, tropical fruit accents and a good mix of honey/bread-like pale malts. Clean and fairly bright without any troublesome acidity.
A bit less bright in the mouth with a bit too much breadiness and dull, piney hop. A touch chalky, but really just more unexpressive/bland than it is offensively resinous/acidic or anything like that. Malts show great depth for the abv, I will say that. A shame, I really thought, based on that nose, we finally had a well-done Sip, but, alas, they just seem to be hellbent on making these bready, piney and blandly hoppy.

On tap at the brewery taproom. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, floral and mild bready nose. Bready, citrusy, floral, light grassy and bitter finish. Ok one.

Pours hazy gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Tangerine and passion fruit aromas. Dry with sweet tangerine and passion fruit upfront turning to earthy pine in the medium length finish.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: bright yellow color with a slight chill haze about it and a two finger white foamy head which settled off at a nice pace then left some light lace
Aroma: floral, grapefruity, lemony hop scents initially; clean biscuity malts underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes semi-crisp with a lemony rind bitterness and a lil' bit of dry-ish hop spice
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to light; yes this is sessionable; light amount of smoothness as some dryness and IBU bitterness seem a bit heavier than I had hoped but then again it is Lawson's, there's that; good carb level
Overall: decent enough session IPA, it might not be a top shelf beer but at least this isn't on the bottom.
