Cornish full juice, sparkling, wild fermented dry cider, no added sulphites, barrel aged, 6.7% abv

A delicious natural cider made from 70% Sweet Alford and a 30% blend of Browns, Hocking’s Green, Lord of the Isles and Cats Head. Fermented and aged for 8 months in oak barrels.

This cider is full juice, made from 100% apples, handpicked from unsprayed orchards in a small valley of the Fowey Estuary in Cornwall. It is fermented with the wild, naturally occurring yeast found on the apple skins, with no added sulphites.

Vibrant and refreshing with a crisp minerality. We get notes of honeydew melon and grapefruit, finished with a delicate hint of vanilla from oak ageing.

Just like a dry white wine, this cider pairs beautifully with shellfish, grilled white fish, light summery salads and risotto, feta, goats cheese and charcuterie. 750ml

ABOUT RIPE
We’re a small husband-and-wife cidery based in South East Cornwall, producing low-intervention, natural cider from our own ecologically managed orchards.

Our ciders are designed with the table in mind: elegant, expressive, and best served in a wine glass alongside food. Each one is made from 100% Cornish apples, handpicked from unsprayed orchards, fermented with wild yeast, and aged naturally for over 16 months. We don’t add sulphites, preservatives, or any other additives.

500ml bottle. Hazed orangey gold colour, white bubbly head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fruit, zesty citric, earthy funk. Taste is tart, tangy, appley, freshy fruity, tropical hints, citrus, with some farmhouse funk and drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry funky tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
