Pint at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho shared by Tim, thanks! Amber with off-white head. Aromas of bourbon, light chili pepper, subtle chocolate, caramel. Tastes of big bourbon and chili pepper, light chocolate and caramel. Medium-full body with a dry and warm peppery finish.

Dark Amber brown color. Huge green coffee and bourbon nose. Sweet and malty with a touch of Christmas cake. Very heavy body with tons of bourbon and christmas cake. Excellent beer for December. Very full body, but never too boozy. Smooth. Great depth. Really nice.

650 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany color with moderate to light head. Aromas of wood, bourbon, dried fruit and maybe some burnt chilies. Flavors of raisins, toast, light bourbon, vanilla, and dried (but not hot) chilies. Bourbon forward on the nose but flavors are really well balanced - not overkill. Great stuff.

22 oz bottle pour. Pours copper with a lasting fizzy, white head. Aroma is really strong peppers and some bourbon. Really spicy aroma. Almost overwhelming. Spicy pepper flavors with a really nice complimenting sweet chocolate. Finishes with a nice cherry vanilla, with the spice still present. Bonus points for being so unique. Not super smooth on drinkability, but decent flavor. Really good overall. Definitly feeling this one too. Quite impressed.

On tap at Breakside. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet sugary nose with vanilla and cocoa. The flavor is dominated by super sweet massive cocoa powder, very dry, some heat (from chillies and alcohol), wood, tequila (for some reason), light green pepper. Interesting, good.

Draft at the source. Hazy purple maroon color, thick creamy head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of cocoa powder, very subtle pepper, vanilla. Taste has vanilla, Mexican mole sauce, whiskey. Wow.

22 oz. bottle thanks to Kate. Pours out a hazy amber topped with a small white head. Aroma is bourbon, green chillis and a little spice. Taste is bourbon, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and a little of the chilli. I was expectiog way more of the chillis to match the nose.

Better than their regular Aztec. Rather like a good bourbon, alcohol burn and chile burn are gone. Flavour has cherry and malt notes with vanilla finish.
