Inspired by NRG pastry chef Tiffany MacIsaac’s wonderful figgy toffee pudding dessert; full-bodied, decadent malt-driven strong ale brewed with 30 pounds of Virginia-grown figs, as well as brown sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg; casked with 5 oz. fresh vanilla beans & 5 oz. locally-ground coffee (Santa Teresa Farm coffee, Chiapas, Mexico) roasted by Ceremony Coffee Roasters (Annapolis, Maryland).

On cask at the brewery on opening night. Pours a hazy mahogany amber with some swirling beige head. Nose has a ton of coffee and vanilla bean, more malt than the regular version, brown sugar. Flavor is sweeter than the regular version, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla bean, some coffee but less than the nose would let on. Sweet finish.
