Vintage rate. 5/19/15. $8, ommegang chalice. Clear, golden yellow. Softly fizzy, sparkling. Smells faintly of apple cores, bitter melon, & fizzy beer. Taste is sweet & sour apples, candy(but not sour apple candy if that makes sense), bitter peel/seeds, cream soda, touch wine-y & sharp. Feel is a little less carbonation then expected, a bit fuller; it coats. Lingering sour finish. Okay.

Precious Metal, Brooklyn tap: pors clear gold with a small head. Aroma is yeasty, apple, sugar. Dry but with a nice level of sweetness. Kind of sweet aftertaste. Very smooth and drinkable. I liked it.

Tap at gingerman to finish off flight. Deeper gold cider. Nose is sweet and tart Apple. Tastes of tart Apple skin, sweet meaty Apple flesh, some pie filling, sugar, floral tones. Touch sweeter than my taste
