A man of many talents and none requiring skill. This English ale is made with brown and pale malts to give the beer a molasses, toffee flavor, and flaked barley for body and smoothness.

7.3/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7
Location: At the brewpub, 11/28/14

Aroma: The aroma has some caramel and toffee, with chocolate and roast notes
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small brown head
Flavor: The flavor is malty and a little sweet, with a clean, lightly dry bitterness as well
Palate: The body is medium, leaning a hint light, very smooth, with a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid, enjoyable brown. It works nicely, with a good mouthfeel, and an easy drinkability.
