Pretty damn good if this is supposed to be a kolsch. Or at least its better than your average kolsch. Sharp barley crispness and a decent dose of citrus hops. Pours cloudy orange with decent head and lacing. Barely is huge. Light to medium bitter finish. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the place where they make it: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is slightly peppery, plenty enough hoppy in the most German way possible, and some grass. Taste is sufficiently bitter. Pale malts and nice bready backbone for the hops. I couldn’t call this a proper Kolsch. More like a hoppy German blonde.

Poured at the Bluejacket Brewery for the Bluejacket Sneak Preview BBQ. Poured a slightly hazy, orange color with a medium/small white head. Aroma was some light spice notes, almost a touch of smoke in this. Creamy. Smooth. Some spice. Malt sweet notes and some yeast notes.
