Strong, dark, cold-fermented lager that developed in the
countries surrounding the Baltic Sea. Rich, malty, and
complex. We used dark candy syrups to enhance the dark fruit
flavors associated with this style. Using a lager yeast keeps
the beer exceptionally smooth and crisp.

Dirty brown, slurry pour, a little above the .18L line.
Dried date & slight maple nose.
Strong coffee, hearty dark bread, molasses, slight burnt raisin but good attenuation, slight acidity, velvety prune tail. No big varnish-y dark fruit tail I usually associate with the classic stuff.
Slightly thick, not too forceful carb.
Great, but potential to be better.
