Strong, dark, cold-fermented lager that developed in the
countries surrounding the Baltic Sea. Rich, malty, and
complex. We used dark candy syrups to enhance the dark fruit
flavors associated with this style. Using a lager yeast keeps
the beer exceptionally smooth and crisp.
Version 3 uses twice as much dark candy syrup as Version1, which also helps lead to the higher ABV.

Licorice, veggie & menthol nose.
Super sharp with bitter burnt raisin & sweeeet maple-y dates, subtle licorice & charred molasses. Couldn't finish my pour.
Only okay, a bit too polar.
