Bottle. Cloudy and pale with a big head. The aroma is quite toasty. Balanced but the beer gets tart late on the palate, which is a bit of an issue.

Draft. Hazy amber color, medium white head. Aroma is fruity with a bit of grass and citrus. Taste is malt forward, with a slight bitter finish. OK.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/1/2010. Pours cloudy with quite a bit of yeast sediment, a little like Coopers Sparkling. Nose is quite fruity and distinctive. Taste wise, it’s just a little too sweet for the tiny touch of lemony bitterness at the end, and doesn’t have a whole lot of character. Okay, but certainly nothing to write home about.

Amber pour with a large persistent head.Aroma shows fruity hops and some herbal notes. Green apples, pears, grapes, coriander, cinnamon and lots of sweet malt are all present.Flavours are... darker: none of the afore-mentioned fruity hops, but impressive toasty malt is quite prominent. Unfortunately the malt is left unchecked, and ends up quite strong. Again, there’s notes of cinnamon/coriander.This really needs more carbonation to balance the malt, and create a more refreshing finish.
