If there were an astronaut that was exceptional, they would be quite super, correct? Perhaps even a "Supernaut", yes? Maybe even find inspiration in an old, Balek Sabbath song? Sure. And this is a pretty super tasting beer with rich, full passion fruit, pineapple and mixed berry flavor. This all Mosaic hop favorite pops up throughout the year and fits well into any season.

Canned 4/28/22, drunk 5/19/22. Don't know the appearance because Three Sheets did not offer me a glass and I don't care enough to ask for one. Smells like mosaic. Soft scallion, light pine, nectarine and lemon. How did this hop become ubiquitous? I mean, it's certainly better than the OG PNW crap (c hops, ctz) but still so underwhelming. That said, nebco is great and this is pretty well salvaged. Piney, malty, quite bitter. Good and dry. Pretty old school and lots of bitterness with light caramel and toast. Fine for the style but not the style I enjoy at all.

Pours amber with a fluffy white head. Tracing carbonation. Peppery aroma, lots of mosaic. Taste of sweet malt, oily mosaic, somewhat peppery. Palate has lingering oils, lemon nose bite. Good.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy dark yellow-orange with tons of sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, tropical fruit, whiff of herb, malt backbone. Taste is almost astringent citrus, cracker malt balance, bitter ending. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation, mild pleasant alcohol warmth and finish of sweet citrus ending dry and bitter. Overall, rating likely colored by age (8 months old) but, given that, surprising amount of hops in the aroma and would probably be more in the flavor if fresher. Still decent.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Caramel, mango and pineapple aromas. Medium bodied and dry with mango upfront turning to vegetal, earthy resin in the lasting finish.

Growler from the brewery. Hazy orange, large creamy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of herbal, oniony hops, pale malt. The taste is pale malt, a bit of toast, stone fruit, melon, grapefruit. Medium bodied, high carbonation, well balanced.
