The Märzenbier is an Octoberfest-style amber lager brewed with Vienna, Munich, and Caramunich malts and lightly hopped with German Perle hops. The Bavarian lager yeast leaves a clean, malt focused beer perfect for drinking by the liter outside in the cool fall weather!

Pours a lightly hazy copper - nose of caramelized sugars, toasted bread, light fruity esters, a bit of spiciness - fairly nice texture - flavor is toasty malt, but borders pretty dang close to tasting burnt - however, this works to an extent as there is a moderate bitterness that plays with it decently - moderately warming spiciness, caramel - it’s pretty enjoyable despite the mild burnt character.

Bottle @ Zach’s house. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a thin cream colored head. Caramel, toasted malt, biscuit in the nose and lots of herbal notes. A little spicy flavor with lots of dough and light citrus. Fizzy carbonation. Ok.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange, with a big, frothy, beige head. Caramel, oranges, coriander, light floral hops, and sourdough. Bready sweetness, with a light bitterness. Light body, chalky, a little sharp, and astringent. Overall, this is a nice, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable beer. Mellow, balanced, and well done.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear ruby-gold with a creamy white head. Has kind of an odd, tangy berry nose, hints of caramel, grape. Medium sweet flavor with ripe and tangy berries, a bit of sweet bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and somewhat sticky finish, more tangy berries, sugary bread. Not what ai would call a classic marzen but still decent beer.
