Warm, Bold, Smooth Papa Bear is a stout that wraps you in a warm, roasty embrace. With a nutty, roasted nose and a surprisingly velvety, thin mouthfeel. Layers of citrusy orange, bold coffee, and rich roasted chocolate create a complex, warming sip. Deep ruby brown in color with a luscious deep tan head, aged for 6 months in a Church Street Distilling Co. Alpha Omega rye barrel. The aging process smooths out the bold flavors and has a warm hint of rye whiskey.

Crowler leggy brown, no head. Nose is boozy, rye and brownies, nail polish. Chewy. Boozy. Some doctor pepper. Full bodied, boozy and astringent. 5 6 5.5 5 5

Crowler pour at the DC Beer share. Pooured a dark brown cola color with a medium brown head. Aroma was too boozy, rye, some chocolate. This one is too boozy. Bummer.
