Brewed in collaboration to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of our friends over at Servehzah, Midnight Ritual honors this ancient revelry with a porter aged in oak barrels and steeped in the flavors of mole — dark cacao, cinnamon, chili spice, and oak smoke. Each sip is a ceremonial offering, a reminder that indulgence can be both sacred and wild.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of spicy chili peppers, a touch of cinnamon, some oak, and surprisingly thin malt. Flavour is fairly thin, with cocoa, cinnamon, less chili on the nose, and toasted malt. For such a high ABV beer, the malts seem rather thin. Balanced and has ome nice sugars in there, but leaves something to be desired. Good, but underwhelming.

Dark brown. Thin head. The cinnamon is solid, good chocolate note. On the palate, it's somewhat thick, with a chocolate focus. It's got a touch of spice. Kind of light for the size.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Cake-like chocolate with underlying cinnamon and feint chilli, medium body. Decent.
