A royal family of juicy, sticky, resinous hops unite with the most honorable of funky & fruity farmhouse yeast strains & four noble grains to produce this king of farmhouse DIPAs. A fanfare of dank tropical fruit aromas announces this big Double IPA and then stands at attention with the backbone of Belgian Pale malt, rye, spelt, & oats. The fruity esters of our Farmhouse yeast and a touch of residual sweetness make this one very powerful IPA. All hail the king!

At World of Beer, Bethesda. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized, white head. Aroma was oranges, some tropical fruit, citrus. Herbal, earthy and resinous. Sweet malts, some light toast, and a resin finish. Alcohol is there, but mostly mellow.

On tap at Churchkey for a VA/MD tap take over. Pours a mostly clear, dark gold with some frothy, white head. Nose has perfume, esters, grass, lemon, honey. Flavor is malt, candy, straw, yeast, some potpourri, perfume. Finishes dry and creamy.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of floral notes, citrus, malt, light tropical fruit. Tastes of booze, citrus, floral notes, malt, tropical fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid, a bit heavy on the alcohol.

Very nicely done. A touch of hay with some citrus and a good dose of fresh hops. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Touch of floral. Tap at smoke and barrel.

Draft at Roasthouse courtesy of ajax25g, thanks! Clear golden yellow color. Aroma of fruiy and funky pine and pineapple. Taste is bittersweet tropical fruit. Very tasty.
