This West Coast Pale Ale bridges the gap between new school and old school variations of the style.
Maris Otter, Munich and a touch of Crystal malt provide a sweet, caramel and chewier base than what we normally go for.
Mosaic and Waimea provide pine sap, grapefruit and orange zest all tied together with a firm but refreshing bitterness.

440ml can. Pours a dark amber, mostly clear, big beige head. Aroma of toffee/caramel and biscuit malts, pine, resin, grapefruit. Taste follows, big malt presence that's biscuity and caramelly, big bitter hops, piney resin, grapefruit, some earthy and herbal notes, strong lingering bitterness. Medium bodied.
Solid old school APA, good malt and hop balance.
