Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, hops, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Has soft malt aroma and nice deep ruby copper body with beige foam on top. Flavour is soft malts and mellow hops, subtle but well balanced. Mouthfeel is full. It's a good red ale, not too flashy but nicely balanced.

330ml bottle. Pours ruby red. Aroma is all toffee and biscuits, though the flavour has some sweet fruitiness too. Little cherry, some orange, lots of peach. Really quite nice.

Draft at the source. Hazy deep amber color, tan head. Aroma of caramel biscuit. Taste is toasted nutty caramel. Not bad.

(On tap) Warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of fruit and caramel. Fairly light in body yet with a distict malt base. Dry and lightly smoked malt accents with a dry finish. One of very few Irish Ales with some personality. 080208
