Tap at Lumsden Free House, Auckland. Pours clear gold with white foam. Light malts, mildly hoppy. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Mundane, tastes like a million golden ales in the UK.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and a little flowers. Medium body with sweetish malts and flower notes and a surprisingly distinct bitterness. Surprisingly characterful for a NZ Pale Lager. 210208

Draught at The Malthouse, Wellington. Clear golden, near no head. Dusty orange aroma. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Notes of peach and other fruits, low bitterness. A straight forward lager a notch above the mass market products.
